     I read Within High Faces this week. This is love story. The main character is Nancy and she works as a guard. She has a boyfriend, Tom.

     She went to her office and met George who is an asylum seeker. Asylum seekers want to live in Great Britain because of bad problem in their country. He also was in the center and met her there. She knew he is kind person and fell in love with him.

     She decided to leave Tom, and then she moved in Hackney to live near George. Nancy and George spent good time at her house. She lent her house key because she had to go her friend’s wedding. After that, the bad things happened to Nancy.

     I was surprised twice by reading this book. In this book, Tom had some bad stereotype toward asylum seekers. However, Nancy and George were together while helping each other. I understood Within High Fences meaning.

A Picture to Remember

 

     I read A Picture to Remember by Sarah Scott-Malden. This is suspense story. Cristina loves art and works in Buenos Aires. She rides motorbike and doesn’t wear her helmet because she likes to feel the warm air on her face. One day, she had a car accident because she saw a man in next car had his gun. He had a tattoo of a red poppy on his neck.

She was lying in bed in hospital and didn’t remember about the car accident. Robert and Carlos are brothers and bank robbers. They were seen their gun by Cristina, so they decided to kill her. They look for her and followed her. However, she didn’t notice and spend time doing her new art job. She had an uncomfortable feeling in her favorite poppy’s picture in her house when she looks at the picture.

I don’t tell you this continuation because I want you to read this book. This book made me fear and interesting. Please check it!

Different Worlds

 

     I read Different Worlds last week. This is love story between a young girl who is deaf and a man. When the girl first saw him, she thought about being deaf. This is because she can’t hear and speak well. She worried about them, and then she talked to her best friend. Her friend and he were friend and she and he met at her friend’s party. After party, they kept touch in each other. They spend happy time while communicating with writing and easy sign language.

One day, his ex-girlfriend appeared in front of her. The ex-girlfriend talked about his band. She didn’t know about it and was shocked because she can’t hear his music and he didn’t tell. She continued thinking about being deaf; they are living in different worlds. Her mother noticed her incident and make the opportunity to talk with him.

I want you to read the end of this book. After reading, it made my heart warm because her mother, her best friend, and her boyfriend were kind and the girl’s courage was good. I recommend to read this book, if you want to feel happy.

Just Like a Movie

 

     I read Just Like a Movie last week. The main character is a man who loves movies.

     One day, he met a woman and she became his girlfriend. They spend happy time like a movie, Love Story, which he loved and watched five times. But they didn’t make much money, and then he decided to make money like a movie called Dead Money. He really wanted to spend every time like movies. However, the desire was changing to bad situations.

     This story was very interesting for me. Before reading, I thought they spent happy time like movie, but it didn’t. I want you to read the continuation of this book!
