                 I read The House by the Sea last week. It’s a kind of mystery and the main character is Carl. He has his wife, Linda. They bought a house by the sea to spend their weekends. However, Carl worked every day and they spent little time together. One day they promised to meet at the house, but Linda didn’t appear. Carl worried about her. There were curious happenings around Carl, so he thought Linda was died. She didn’t appear but he back to London to work. After few days, he backed to the house because he needed to visit policeman. After that, he back to the house, and Linda was in. She started to talk abut her. She wanted to leave carl because she loved in other man. He was shocked. John, an old friend of Carl, listened to this story form him.

                 I felt Carl was an unfortunate man because he had a lot of work and lost his wife. I thought he didn’t know the value of his wife until he lost her. Before reading, this book is mystery, but it was the problems between Carl and Linda.

     I read Just Good Friends by Penny Hancock. This story is a kind of drama. The main character is Stephany. She has a boyfriend, Max. They planned to go to Italy and stay at Stephany’s friend Carlo’s flat. Carlo has a wife and she was not happy to see Stephany. Stephany and Carlo say that we are just good friends. However, they found out the truth of relationship between Stephany and Carlo in Italy. Two couples were spending sometimes happy, sometimes jealousy. 

     It’s difficult for me to explain this story in detail because the event in Italy was very complex. As I read this book, I felt amusement of reading the continuation. After reading, I had a shock in Stephany, so I strongly recommend to read the last page. Let’s read it!
